PTA meetings offer an opportunity to meet other parents and staff, provide opportunities to learn how to volunteer at Rogers or help with activities, and help keep you informed!  Principal Chu answers members’ questions at the meetings and provides school updates. Rogers’ teachers also attend the PTA meetings.

Everyone is welcome at Rogers PTA! Parents, students, grandparents, neighbors, aunties and uncles, caregivers, and community members may all join! Memberships are all just $10/each ($1 convenience processing fee applies to memberships purchased on TOTEM). Our goal is to enroll one member per Rogers student.

What Does the Rogers PTA Do?
PTA provides funding for classroom/school enhancements that LBUSD can no longer provide on a regular basis. Over the past few years, PTA has purchased Chromebooks for the classrooms, overhead projectors for every classroom, new PE equipment, partnered with Student Council to purchase a new electronic marquee and the Ching Gym Scoreboard and funded our WEB (Where Everybody Belongs) student leadership program. Grade-level field trips/bus transportation, 8th grade promotion, student clubs, the Jeopardy Tournament, and activity days for the students are also supported through PTA. Rogers PTA also is your resource for PE clothing and Mustang spirit sweatshirts.
