The end of the year sneaks up on all of us and many of our families realize they may need a charitable deduction at the last minute.   Remember, Rogers PTA is a 501(c) 3 organization.  Here are some great ways to give:

PTA donations on our Web store.  Donations can be made directly on our store by clicking here (scroll down for donation options) or checks made out to Rogers PTA can be dropped off at school before the end of the year.

Wellness Center wish list.  The Rogers Wellness Center is still looking for cozy furniture to purchase, bean bags, couches, cute bins, rugs of any size, a mini fridge and supplies.  If you prefer to purchase an item from their Amazon wishlist, click here.

Giving Tree gift cards.  Gift cards can be in any amount and dropped off at the Rogers front office by the end of today. They will be used to help Rogers families in need.

Rogers Rescue Mission.  The Rogers Rescue Mission is still in need of nonperishable items, full or travel-size toiletries, children’s or adult books, shoes, shoelaces and socks.  Bins are located in the foyer before the Front Office and can be dropped off today as well.

HAVE YOU HEARD?   For the first time in 3 years, all Rogers students will have the opportunity to attend PALI Institute’s 3-day camp in late November and early December.  Informational sessions will be held Monday, October 10 (via zoom) at 8:15 am and Tuesday, October 11 in the auditorium at 5:30pm.  For those parents who cannot attend either parent information session, it will be recorded and shared after the meeting.

image0This experience is made possible by the PTA’s biggest fundraiser drive but we still need to fill some key positions!  The PTA hopes to make a donation to fund the transportation to and from PALI camp but we need your help.  Our next Mustang Drive committee meeting is on Monday, October 10 at 8:15a in the multipurpose room.  Please join us and bring a friend!  If you cannot make it, sign up below:

OCTOBER 14 IS OUR CLUB FAIR.  Students willClubFairArt have the opportunity to check out the clubs available in our school and sign up.

A list of our clubs can be found on our school loop page under the header “Clubs” or click here.  Club offerings are subject to change so make sure to remind your kids to stop by the tables and see what’s new!

MEMBERSHIP DRIVE EXTENDED!   Listen up Mustangs!  We are extending our PTA Membership Drive to help us hit our goal of 100% membership.  We NEED YOU!  We are still 200+ memberships short of our goal.  That means you now have until October 15th to sign up for PTA memberships and be eligible for a lot of great rewards, like an in class party for the 1st period class at each grade level with the highest percentage of memberships, and a chance to win a front of the line pass for lunch and activities, a “skip the mile-run pass” or 4 reserved front row seats and reserved parking for 8th grade promotion.  Buy memberships online at the Rogers PTA website today.
