In recognition of yesterday’s holiday, Rogers PTA would like to take a moment to recognize and thank all of our Veterans for their service and sacrifice. We appreciate you!

INCENTIVE UPDATES Last week, Principal Wood conducted the final raffles to determine the recipients of the various individual incentives PTA offered during this year’s Membership Drive. He then announced the names in a special end-of-day audio broadcast to all students last Friday 11/5. This included the announcement of the class party recipient for highest participation percentage. A BIG Congratulations to Mr. Hamilton’s 1st Period class on receiving this recognition with a class participation level of 114 percent… more memberships returned than students in the class!

HAVE YOU JOINED? IT’S NOT TOO LATE! Please remember that memberships must be renewed each year while at Rogers. Memberships are $10/member (new or renewal). Donations to Rogers PTA are also accepted throughout the year. Thank you for your consideration in helping us to meet our goals!

A HUGE thank you to everyone who has joined or renewed your membership so far this year. Your support falls right in line with this year’s theme of “Connecting Families and Schools”… THANK YOU!

A reminder that Rogers PTA is able to offer a few incentives for joining PTA during our Membership Drive this year!

JOIN PTA BY THIS SUNDAY OCTOBER 31, 2021 and Receive Great Incentives!

  • Any student who becomes a member (or returns a membership) will be entered into a drawing for a $50 AMC gift card. One entry limit per student
  • Any student who returns four (4) or more memberships will be entered into a drawing for a “Front of the Line” pass to be used at lunch AND all Rogers student activity days for the entire 2021-2022 school year! One entry limit per student
  • Any 8th Grade student who becomes a member (or returns a membership) will be entered into a drawing for 4 reserved front-row seats at 8th Grade Promotion! One entry limit per student
  • The 1st Period class with the highest percentage of memberships will receive an in-class party!
  • PTA thrives on several business partnerships that offer member discounts and benefits, including Hertz, Farm Fresh to You and Tick Talk.  Go to http://www.capta.org for more information.

PTA’s goal for membership is one membership per student. Rogers currently has an enrollment of around 800 students. The count as of October 28th shows that Rogers PTA has signed up 531 total members! This includes 267 members who have joined or renewed online via TOTEM, PTA’s online membership portal. We are currently two-thirds of the way to our drive’s goal with just TWO DAYS LEFT! We are doing GREAT – but we still have more work to do and really REALLY could use your support to meet our goals!

Please remember that memberships must be renewed each year while at Rogers. Memberships are $10/member (new or renewal). Donations to Rogers PTA are also accepted throughout the year.

Student Field Day Friday October 29th Field Days have returned to Rogers, and PTA and Student Council need donated items to help make it a successful event. At this time, unfortunately VIPS and other in-person volunteers are still prohibited from participating in person on campus during these events, but we welcome donations at this time as you are able to help answer the call.

This is the logo for Rogers Middle School Long Beach CA LBUSDRogers PTA Membership Drive is NOW thru OCTOBER 31st! A HUGE thank you to everyone who has joined or renewed your membership and/or purchased sweatshirts or PE uniforms with the PTA so far this year. Your support falls right in line with this year’s theme of “Connecting Families and Schools”… THANK YOU!

Halfway Mark of our Membership Drive! As a mid-drive follow-up, all students should have received a red flier and envelope from the PTA recently. Please review this flier to learn more about PTA and what it does for ALL of our students and school! If you still have yet to become a member, now’s your chance! Or, maybe you have already joined but want to pass the flier onto a family member, neighbor, friend, or other Rogers fan… that’s great… all are welcome! Just fill out the envelope provided and submit $10/ea membership, cash or check (made out to “Rogers PTA”), or you can easily join PTA online now here with credit/debit card via Square.

PTA is able to offer a few incentives for joining PTA during our Membership Drive this year!

JOIN PTA BY OCTOBER 31, 2021 and Receive Great Incentives!

  • Any student who becomes a member (or returns a membership) will be entered into a drawing for a $50 AMC gift card. One entry limit per student
  • Any student who returns four (4) or more memberships will be entered into a drawing for a “Front of the Line” pass to be used at lunch AND all Rogers student activity days for the entire 2021-2022 school year! One entry limit per student
  • Any 8th Grade student who becomes a member (or returns a membership) will be entered into a drawing for 4 reserved front-row seats at 8th Grade Promotion! One entry limit per student
  • The 1st Period class with the highest percentage of memberships will receive an in-class party!
  • PTA thrives on several business partnerships that offer member discounts and benefits, including Hertz, Farm Fresh to You and Tick Talk.  Go to http://www.capta.org for more information.

PTA’s goal for membership is one membership per student. Rogers currently has an enrollment of around 800 students. The count as of October 7th shows that Rogers PTA has signed up 493 total members! This includes 246 who have joined or renewed online via TOTEM, PTA’s online membership portal. We are currently almost 2/3 of the way to our drive’s goal with just a few weeks to go! We are doing GREAT – in fact, we have already WAY MORE than DOUBLED our 2020-21 membership count! – but we still have more work to do!

Please remember that memberships must be renewed each year while at Rogers. Memberships are $10/member (new or renewal). Donations to Rogers PTA are also accepted throughout the year.

This includes 233 (half of the total) who have joined or renewed online via TOTEM, PTA’s online membership portal. We are currently almost 60 percent of the way to our drive’s goal at the halfway point! We are doing GREAT – in fact, we have already DOUBLED our 2020-21 membership count! – but we have some more work to do!

This is the logo for Rogers Middle School Long Beach CA LBUSDRogers PTA Membership Drive is NOW thru OCTOBER 31st! A HUGE thank you to everyone who has joined or renewed your membership and/or purchased sweatshirts or PE uniforms with the PTA so far this year. Your support falls right in line with this year’s theme of “Connecting Families and Schools”… THANK YOU!

PTA is able to offer a few incentives for joining PTA during our Membership Drive this year!

JOIN PTA BY OCTOBER 31, 2021 and Receive Great Incentives!

  • Any student who becomes a member (or returns a membership) will be entered into a drawing for a $50 AMC gift card. One entry limit per student
  • Any student who returns four (4) or more memberships will be entered into a drawing for a “Front of the Line” pass to be used at lunch AND all Rogers student activity days for the entire 2021-2022 school year! One entry limit per student
  • Any 8th Grade student who becomes a member (or returns a membership) will be entered into a drawing for 4 reserved front-row seats at 8th Grade Promotion! One entry limit per student
  • The 1st Period class with the highest percentage of memberships will receive an in-class party!
  • PTA thrives on several business partnerships that offer member discounts and benefits, including Hertz, Farm Fresh to You and Tick Talk.  Go to http://www.capta.org for more information.

PTA’s goal for membership is one membership per student. Rogers currently has an enrollment of around 800 students. The count as of September 16th shows that Rogers PTA has enrolled 413 total members! This includes 187 online members via TOTEM, PTA’s online membership portal. We are currently just over HALFWAY to our goal! We are doing GREAT – in fact, we have already far surpassed our 2020-21 membership count! – but we have some more work to do!

Please remember that memberships must be renewed each year while at Rogers. Memberships are $10/member (new or renewal). Donations to Rogers PTA are also accepted throughout the year.

Hello Mustangs! We hope everyone had a wonderful Labor Day holiday weekend and second week back on campus for the 2021-22 school year! PTA wishes to take a moment out for our first responders and heroes from the tragic events of 20 years ago tomorrow, September 11th. All gave some; some gave all.
