About
What is the PTA?
We are parents, teachers, administrators, community members, and students who work behind (and in front!) the scenes at Rogers Middle School to provide the richest social and academic environment possible.
We provide funding for Recreation Aids, for teacher set up materials in the classrooms, for field trips, the wellness center, school clubs, the annual Jeopardy Tournament, Movie Nights, Career Day, Brain Pop Educational Tools, staff appreciation, the 8th Grade Party … and a whole bunch more.
To do so, we sponsor events like the annual Mustang Drive and Parents Night Out fundraisers, and solicit donations. We also sell Logowear & PE Clothing, as well as we find financial supporters from our neighborhood restaurants and businesses through Dining for Dollars and Banner Sales. The PTA supports the teachers, raises funds, plans, organizes, and we try to have fund doing it. Pun intended.
All of this is done to help the students, parents, and teachers of Rogers. Parents have opportunities to be involved in their child’s education and enrich the overall students’ school experience, plus they have the opportunity to participate in fun, school-wide events.
The PTA is made up of an executive board and members. Board positions are voted in, while members simply join.
Want to join our PTA? Click here! Everyone is welcome to join and may attend a PTA meeting; however, only members may vote.
If you would like to run for a Board position, you must first be a member of the PTA. A description of each Board member’s job is here. Please go here for our Welcome Page and for a message from our current President.
